Saturday August 20th, Brattleboro Residents were able to bring their compost to a new drop-off location for the first time. Now residents can collect compost that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to and drop it off outside of WSWMD’s business hours at a location that is more convenient to many residents.
The Fairground Road recycling station now has a Project COW compost bin that will be open two days a week.
The bin will be open with volunteers helping people compost Wednesdays between 5 & 7 PM, and Saturdays from 9 to noon.
